For 19 years, as Hong Kong's "Diamond Matchmaker," I served CEOs, academics, legal minds, and industry leaders. That unique access taught me a quiet truth: elite credentials do not guarantee the empathy, interpersonal skills, or conversational range that crucial connections require. If even the most accomplished minds find relationships challenging, then the rest of us must approach them with sincerity and humility.

We learned plenty in school—but little about the soft skills and relationship intelligence that sustain success. Ricky Wong lost his job as CEO at ATV after just 12 days. Sarah Ferguson married a prince but couldn't sustain it. The brilliant Gordon Brown lasted only 2.5 years as Prime Minister. Education and hard skills may get you there, but you need soft skills and relationship intelligence to keep you there.

This is why I founded Meiling Circle (小元圈)—a private upskilling ecosystem for the modern leader. We offer 16 CPD hours in Year 1 and 16 in Year 2 – the fun way. Don’t need the CPD hours? We've put our onboarding journey in place to keep all of our members safe and protected.

  1. Apply –Please complete the Registration Form fully and accurately. Any incomplete or clearly incorrect information will be automatically rejected by our system.
  2. Meet – Accepted registrants will be invited to meet either in person or via zoom.
  3. Pay – Upon acceptance, pls effect payment latest within 3 working days & email your deposit slip to office@meiling.hk
  4. Verify – Upon receipt of payment, we shall request you to pls submit these documents online : (a) HKID card or passport copy (b) proof of residence address (bank statement or utility bill accepted) (c) proof of education (d) proof of employment
  5. Connect – Those who have passed their background check will be informed in writing. For those who have not passed for whatever reason, we thank you for your interest, you will be refunded in full within 7 working days.
  6. Explore – As a MeilingCircle member, you are now warmly welcome to take part in any and all pay-per-event forums, lifestyle experiences and excursions. We look forward to the pleasure of seeing you soon.
